MSI participated in Nor-Shipping from 4-7 June 2019 in Oslo, Norway
MSI was privileged to be part of the ASMI (Association of Singapore Marine Industries) and Singapore pavilion at the recent Nor-Shipping event held in Oslo, Norway from 4 to 7 June.
MSI’s objective of participating in the event was to create greater awareness of MSI brand in the European market, more specifically in the Scandinavian shipping markets on MSI services and potentially generate sufficient leads for 3rd party ship management business through direct contact with ship-owners.
Nor-Shipping is a maritime trade fair that has been held in Norway every other year since 1965. It is one of the leading international shipping events and an important meeting place and forum for the shipping industry. It features exhibitions, conferences, debates, product launches and social occasions. The fair attracted shipowners, ship builders, classification societies, technology suppliers, shipbrokers, innovators, ship financiers and industry leaders.
MSI received excellent support from the Singapore Senior Minister of State for Health and Transport, Dr Lam Pin Min, who is also the Ambassador of Singapore to Norway and Ms. Quay Ley Hoon, CEO of MPA as they were very encouraging during their visit to MSI’s booth and conveyed that they we could count on their strong support.
The successful Singapore - Norway event organised by the Singapore Government was well attended and MSI look forward to further cultivating the close relationships with all the trade partners and business contacts.
